Has anyone had an issue with caller Id being wrong. I forward my office calls to my cell. I put telemarketers in a group. I also hve customers in a group. On two occasions caller id said it was from telemarketer group. I decided I would waste some time and play with them. Only to find out it was actually a customer. Today I picked up expecting to be speaking to a customer named Ron only to find out it was someone else. His name and # came up. I asked her what number she was calling from? Nothing even close to ron's. HMMM

Well I deleted all contacts on phone. Resynced. Yesterday a customer called and Ron's Name came up. the customer was in my office, I deleted his contact, asked them to call me again and just his Phone # came up. What is going on?????
Someone out there must have an answer to this. What is the use of contacts if they are wrong?

Do you by any chance sync your contacts with Facebook or another app as well? Just wondering if that was interfering somehow. I don't have that problem and I only sync with Gmail.

I was synced with FB. After delete of contacts I turned that off. Still have issue.

Sorry, I am at a loss - Do you use Google Voice (I have read some strange things that may occur with using it)? The only other thing I can think of is to do a "hard reset." I also wouldn't sync with Facebook because I have had issues with Facebook contacts on my former HTC Hero. Good luck and sorry can't think of anything else.

I did a hard reset a few weeks ago. Before that it was another contact that id'ed wrong. Nope on GV. I would like to use it but heard of issues. I like the idea of sending some contact direct to VM or have another outbound msg for some.
I hope to be able to get the referb today. It took 2 weeks to come in.
