Apps Camera App

Hii,

I am new to the android. I am writing the camera application. I
want to know how to use the Camera class. Plz provide any sample application to capture image and save it in file system. Is it possible to simulate this camera app in emulator??

I am using 1.5r3 sdk

I also want to know is it possible to implement zoom , nightmode and other facilities for camera. If it is possible then plz provide some guidelines.
