camera app

I realise this has probably been discussed but the search throws up nothing for me.

Is there an app that allows the camera to shoot faster. It seriously lets this phone down.
Guys get tired of posing for ages or you miss the moment. It takes forever to shoot sometimes.

Can it be done.

A few ideas for the built-in camera app:
Going with shutter priority / "Sports" mode.
Did you try "Intelligent Auto" mode?
Did you try "Burst shot"?

Maybe trying an app like "Fast Burst" Camera...

Are you talking about low-light photos? Because that's the only time the camera doesn't shoot as fast, otherwise I don't know why you'd be having this problem.

Yes, I suppose it would be low light. Usually in the pub or at the ice rink is about the only time I use the camera.

But it would still take 10 seconds to focus which I feel is a lot of time.

Hmm even in low light it has never taken me anywhere close to 10 seconds to focus... Maybe 3 seconds at most.
