Camera as a store locater?

OK so i saw a commercial a while back that showed somone using the camera on there phone as a shop locater i can't find it anywhere for iphone or droid. Does it exist yet or was this something just for one of the phones due out. i want it on my evo.

and yes i did search but found nothing close to what i am looking for.

no i have that. this you could pan the phone around and any business that was listed would get a digital sign above or in front of the building. kind of augmented Reality.

This sounds a lot like the free app called Layar , search it on the Android Market . Its pretty cool (more for showing off though!)

This is definitely what he is referring to. Yelp also has a feature similar to this in their new app called Monocle I believe.
