Help Camera Auto-Focus Issues

I have had very few problems with my phone, but I am stumped here. Recently my camera has been showing a red box while I half-press to auto focus. It started to do it every once in a while, but now it always happens so the camera will not focus. Has anyone seen this before? I tried turning the phone off/on, tried pulling the battery, tried a factory reset even, nothing helped. Help me please, because knowing t-mobile, they aren't going to take it back

Same thing happened to mine after about a month of ownership. Call T-Mobile customer service and they'll send you out a new one. Entire transaction was completed within 3 days. I've seen a few other postings about this issue so, while not widespread, it appears to be somewhat common.
