Is there any way to fix the colors the camera shows? I probably shouldn't expect too much with such a cheap phone (Coolpad Canvas) but it's still kind of annoying. They're way off, especially if it's sky or lights. Screenshots seem ok though.
Have you experimented with any of the Settings options in your camera app that might improve things? Also most camera apps have different 'mode' options that accommodate different lighting or location situations.
Another thing you might want to try is a different camera app. Lately I've been trying out the 'Open Camera' app and like it quite a bit. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.sourceforge.opencamera&hl=en

If you put the photos on another device, how do they look? It could also be settings in your gallery along with temp and white balance. My 2 Canon cameras have that problem. They are lacking in the red ends of the photo but show up in the view screen as seen. A purple flower usually shows up as blue. I either edit in Photoshop on computer it I want to print, or an app named Photo Editor for the phone's camera. I can adjust the RGB sliders in the camera menu or add a filter to the lens with the cameras with both Canons.
My cell phone also sees the flower as purple in the view screen, and the right color appears on all devices.
