Camera colors

I have lg2 and wife has the sg4. Same pics= her colors pop, mine are washed out. Both equally clear. What gives?

The settings are probably different in both. Overexposure wipes out the colors. So can an improper white balance.

Top pic is from my lg2. Bottom (2nd) pic is from my wife's s4 (formerly my phone).

I used her phone to email her pic many lg2,and on the same screen, the s4 pic looks better to me....artificial? Maybe...but if do I like the color shenanigans Samsung does. ..lol

The woman in the background with the blonde hair hasn't moved an inch. You mean to tell me you and your wife took out your phones and went "ok, ready? 1-2-3" and took the picture at the same instant?

They were each taking photos of their posing kids. So yes its entirely possible (actually very likely) they took the picture around the same time. You can see the lady you mention is not in the same place.

Attack the issues, not each other

I have used AI. Much quicker. Can't complain about lag to photo so much... Just like the color saturation. Lg does give true colors.... But is that what is best?

What is best is what you prefer, if you like over saturated colours then that's the best for you. It's purely subjective to tell you the truth.

So, I took another pic today (as did my wife) of the same things and again my opinion was that her image (s4) looked better (perhaps mine looked more realistic?).

Anyway, so I took my pic an used the editor and added a hint of saturation and voila. It now is the better pic.

So-my new question is -for you camera gurus. Is there a way to add auto saturation????

PS: I still like the LG picture above compared to S4's picture, maybe if you posted the same picture taken at the same time from same distance, we could do a better comparison.

For more saturation, I would suggest using a 3rd party app, most likely GS4's app is doing a lot of software correction to get that picture you are seeing, and honestly the darks are way too dark in that shot, if you took the same picture you would lose all the contrast, I can even see it in shadows of that statue.

I heard Smugmug's picture app is really good, but I am sure there are others you can use.
Also try HDR, it works really well in G2, but it needs steady hands and stationary subjects.

Does this help:
All I did was paste your picture (you can just open the picture in) to IrfanView and applied "Auto Correct"
