Camera Comparison VS Nexus 5?

Hi,

So I'm totally on board waiting for my chance to get the 64GB version. Can't beat the specs for the price, but honestly it's overkill for what I would use it for. I've got a battle-station PC so that's where I do all my gaming. My phone is used for some basic stuff like browsing social media, music, tracking hikes, and taking pictures. It's the Camera I'm really looking at.

I notice it looks like a really nice camera, but it seems to lack hardware image stabilization. I've also been looking at the Nexus 5 as an alternative. It has image stabilization but the reviews haven't been too promising. Has anyone had a chance to compare the two cameras side by side? Thoughts?

OP camera is better than Nexus 5, but some pictures do seem to get washed out colors.

It's a good camera, but not as good as my Note 3. Definitely better than the Nexus 5, but not top of the line. It will do in most cases in good lighting outdoors like most flagship type phones, but I just got it yesterday so I still need to give a full run through.

I watched a pretty good review comparing the cameras. For most shots i liked the nexus better. The colors seemed more alive while the opo looked a bit dull (colors washed out like you said). For hdr the opo looked a little better though. Anyways i gave up on opo and ordered a nexus.
