Help Camera Crash

Hi,

My Samsung S7 Edge is suddenly crashing/immediately restarting when I try to take photos.
This happens both with the default camera app, or third party camera app.
It is also happening when the phone is in safe mode.

I've tried to clear data / clear cache for the camera app.
I've also tried the "wipe the cache partition" tips I found somewhere.

Any further steps I can take?

Are you saving your pic to an sd card or internal storage? if to an SD card, try taking it out and retry, otherwise it sounds like a hardware fault unfortunately.

I only have internal storage, so that is a bad omen, I suppose...

Try to run in safe mode. If that fails, factory reset. If that fails send it in for repair. You're going to have to factory reset it before sending it anyway.

Don't forget to backup your stuff.

Factory resetting the device does not fix anything...
The OP, mentions that this happening when using the Camera; stock and third party.
Also he mentions that this happens in Safe Mode, not sure if this makes any difference...
As blOforger mentioned this seems to be a faulty hardware issue...
Do you have steps to reproduce this issue OP?
