camera error when trying to send existing image

In Bluestack I have an image already loaded from my Windows system. I click to send it via snapchat and Snapchat says "Can't open camera...etc" But I'm not trying to use a camera I'm trying to send an existing image. Result is Snapshot stops and does not send the image.

What's up with that?

Sounds like Snapchat just expecting to find a camera when it runs, and the way it's coded it just crashes when it doesn't find a camera. That's only something the Snapchat app developer could change probably. Possibly there's options in Bluestacks to use the computer's webcam, maybe that could keep Snapchat happy?

I tried it in Knoxplayer and got no error. However, I don't know why I don't no why the default is to send an extremely cropped image that is in the wrong orientation. Any ideas?
