Camera Fail leads to Reboot

So as the title suggests, anytime i try to use the camera, it doesnt launch properly, then leads to the phone rebooting. My friend at t-mo says it was a common problem and that i should update, so im at rc-30 now. and once again it doesnt work. Has anyone else had this problem? and fixes?

btw. i have not dropped my phone, or ...done anything to damage it beside put on the invis shield. and the camera did work after i put the invis shield on. this just started a couple days ago.

I have seen this exact problem. I think its just a software issue and probably up to HTC to fix. They have a history of badly written camera apps, mostly under Windows Mobile of course.
