Camera failed warning

Has anyone else had the camera failed warning? It happened to me after I had the phone for 4 days. Phone eventually froze and I removed the battery which fixed it. It happened again today and a reset sorted it out (didn't wait until phone froze this time). I'm a bit concerned as this is a known problem with verizon phones in the US. I am in the UK on O2 network. Should I return the phone?
 
In a word, yes. There's definitely something wrong with it. In the US you can do a warranty swap - they just give you a new phone. I don't know how it's done in the UK or with O2.
 
Mine did that once. I had the Google camera installed as well. Both gave me the same answer, I had to reboot, and then all was fine, no further issues. I have however, uninstalled the google camera and just use the stock one.
 
I have 2 camera apps installed in addition to the Samsung app. All 3 seem to work okay for me 'so far'.
