Camera fix please Cyanogenmod

I swear I cant find an answer for this.
Is it possible to make the camera work on cyanogenmod? Restart camera is poop, flashing the camera made me have no android and had to put another one, custom camera apps are useless, my camera is just fine, before upgrading to 4.3.1 from 2.3.6 it went perfect. Its just a waste of such a responsive phone tho.

You've not said what device this is, which is important information for problems like this.

However, from what you've said surely the simplest answer is to revert to an earlier CyanogenMod if the most recent one isn't playing nicely with your phone? Or perhaps it needs a firmware update (all the lower-level stuff beneath the ROM) for compatibility with the ROM? Have you checked the device or cyanogenmod forums to see whether others are having the same problem, or notified the developer that the update broke your camera?
