Being relatively new to my Droid, I'm still finding fun stuff. Recently, I picked up the shell/holster combo and really like it. However, while I am at work, I have my phone on vibrate (thanks Timeriffic) and can't tell who is txting/emailing me like I used to (different colors for the LED, thanks Handcent). What I was wondering is: is it possible to write an app that uses the camera flash like a vibrate function. The ability to customize the number of flashes and duration would be cool, as would the ability to have it only flash when the phone is on vibrate or silent.
Preferrably, without having to root the phone. If its not possible due to hardware or software lockouts oh well.
