yeah search torch in the market

Its a HTC Desire, all it came up with was apps that turn the screen into a torch not the led flash.
I know of Glowing Pear which was written for the Galaxy but may work on your phone, and MomentFlash which was obviously written for the Moment but works fine on my Galaxy. Try those?
Glowing Pear just shines the flash for as long as the app is open; MomentFlash works as both an app and a widget to manually toggle the flash on or off.
I'm sorry to hear that. Apps usually query the phone to find out which features are available; these apps probably aren't aware of the newest phone models that are now out there. You might want to try contacting the developers to ask for an update, this should be a trivial change (if the app is coded sensibly ).nope, neither of them work.
Which is why they have two brightness settings; one for lighting the subject while the autofocus works, and one BRIGHT one for actually taking the photo. Some of the flash LEDs draw so much power that they're really inteded to be used for brief moments, otherwise they overheat, or do physical damage to the circuits.
