I have a samsung galaxy s4 mini. Yesterday, the camera stopped working with the dreaded (and unhelpful) message "Camera failed". I get this message even after booting the phone in safe mode.
I downloaded Open Camera, and this app displayed a message that a different app is locking the camera. Is there a way to find out what is blocking the camera, or maybe reinstall the camera just in case that a rogue app messed around with the phone internal os?
