Hi, just lately when I connect my phone to the PC via USB it comes up as connected in camera mode, it always used to come up as connected in file mode, also when I connect it to Kies it says "Kies does not support this device", I am running the stock Samsung ROM 4.1.2, I can't find any setting on the phone to change these messages, and I set my PC to open file viewer when the phone is connected but it ignores this and uses camera mode. Anyone any tips, I know Kies is rubbish anyway, but I would like to use it for updates. Phil

Maybe try clearing the defaults for the Kies app... settings.. manage apps.. all.. kies.. clear defaults.
