I've always had a problem with shooting proper selfies with back camera. My front camera is decent but it's always poor in low light and doesn't have flash. Basically you frame your selfie using front camera, flip your phone and the app automatically takes the same selfie using back camera with flash if needed.
Selfio requires 4.0 and above and also needs a working magnetometer. We have known issues on moto x and nexus 7. With next update we will be solving these bugs and adding support for devices without magnetometer as well.
