Does anyone know off hand how to change the camera settings so that the size of the photo will be smaller? I took hdr off & it went from 11mb to 5 but i was hoping to cut that in half. These are just photos that the quality isn't as important as the size of the file.
 
Two things come to mind: the first option is to reduce the resolution of the camera. Tap the Settings (the gear) icon after opening the camera. Then tap the MP button to reduce the resolution.

Another option, after taking the photo, is to resize it. You can crop it or resize, maintaining picture ratios. Resizing it caps it at 8MP or 5MP and the photo size is reduced dramatically.
 
Thanks very much. Got it down to 1.8 by changing the resolution which is very workable. Sometimes i just want to take of photo of something to send to our tech guy for him to investigate & it was coming out huge.
