Help Camera shortcuts don't work! help

When I tap on the screen and tilt the device into landscap mode the camera doesn't launch

Also, when I am in camera, how to enable voice commands? and what are the commands I can use?

I tried saying shoot and take photo but it didn't take a photo

You need to turn the camera shortcut on in settings, security and lockscreen, lockscreen options, camera quick access

I'm not entirely sure about the voice commands as I've never used them but I think they'll be in s voice settings

And it's not a tap on the screen, it's a long press keeping your finger/thumb on the screen while you rotate.

And for voice command:

Settings> Language and input> Voice cmd for apps - toggle to turn on, press to enable for different apps

They work fine for me even in noisy environments, just have to say them quite loudly.

Anyone else find the lockscreen motion activation for the camera very hit or miss?

I've tried refining my technique a few times but can't get it to work consistently.

Yes. I don't want to have to say them loudly though. I know it can pick up my voice in conversation from the same distance I expect it to pick up my voice commands.

I blame Samsung's voice recognition! It apparently uses the same as Google given that I have the voice recogniser set to Google, but I think something must be done differently as I get much more accurate dictation with the Google voice search than I do with S-Voice/built in voice commands.

I have enabled it in the options but no matter what I do the cam wont come on when I press and hold on the screen then rotate the phone sideways
