Camera shutter sound??

You can root the phone and delete the various camera_whatever.ogg files in /system/media/audio/ui, or use a camera app that allows silent shutter (Snap Camera HDR is one).
 
Does the Stylo not have the option to silence the shutter sound? I know most phones have that option and i just got the Stylo but can't find it on there.. I know various phones have them under different settings.
 
It does depend on the device, what the manufacturer has decided. Some you can silence the stock camera shutter sound, some you can't, like the LG Stylo. On Oppo phones, selecting mute silences everything, including the camera sounds.

Believe it or not some countries and jurisdictions have laws about this, like a digital camera must make an audible sound when taking a photo. Perhaps Korea is one of them.

There are third-party camera apps you can install that have silent shutter though.

I couldn't do that on my stylo,which one did this work on because mine was boost mobile variant,that I might add always seemed like it always lacked certain features other variants of stylo had.
 
There's a way. I have an LG stylo 3 and I found it the other day but I can't remember where. I was clicking through all my settings everywhere. Then I updated my phone (I know...DUH!) and it was back. It may have been through whatever app I might have been using (messenger or messages or email etc), but if that's the case it's reverted back as well. If I find it again I'll update and please don't stop looking. I may even have been in system settings. I just can't remember.

Whahahaaa! Same problem here...we have exact same feeling right now..i cant fond any option its so annoying..lol
