Can’t link Play Music to Google Home

Hi, all.

Having challenges linking Google Play (or any music provider, for that matter) to Google Home.

I should, by all accounts, have a list of available music providers when I select Who should be the default music service, as exampled in one of the picture below.

Instead, I have nothing. Just a YouTube option and No Default Provider. If I try click “Other Music services” it doesn’t do anything.

My gmail account is correctly registered with both apps and I have tried reinstalling. I am using a Samsung 9+.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

I see you have Pandora in your illustration, just go into settings on your device and set your choice of any music source as default. By clicking on it as you wrote should have enable it to play.

No, no Pandora - that’s just a generic image from Google.

Yes, everything is up to date. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Signed out of and signed back into.

I’m also having the same issue with Google Assistant.

I've looked everywhere about this issue and three options keep appearing, 1st is to contact is Samsung customer service representative, 2nd is to contact a Google service representative and the 3rd is to do a factory reset of the device.
