Can’t unlock phone thanks to bixby

Since the bixby update, once my phone locked I could not unlock it because bixby is blocking my unlock pattern (almost like bixby is on foreground and the unlock screen is disabled in the background) has anyone else encountered this issue? If so how did you correct it?

I don't know what Bixby update you are referring to, but I have no such issue with it. Did you not set up a fingerprint as a secondary login option?
