Can a default icon be changed to something else?

The Samsung calendar and Google calendar have the same icon and sit next to each other in my app drawer. It's a hassle because I only use Google calendar. I can't take Samsung calendar off, but can I change the icon to something else? Or change Google calendar to something else? I don't really care which.

I tried downloading a theme with icons, but that just changed them both to the same something else.

If you use a launcher, such as Nova Prime, you can change any icon you desire. You can also hide the native Samsung calendar app (or any app for that matter), so it does not appear in the app drawer.
