Can HTC One X be unlocked for use with Verizon?

I have an HTC One X that I have used for at&t and would like to have it unlocked for use on verizon. I've seen various websites contradicting each other on whether the HTC One will work on verizon. Does anyone know whether this is true, especially after the phone has been unlocked?

I seriously doubt it. The HTC One XL (the AT&T variant) is a GSM phone, whereas verizon is a CDMA network. The chances of the two working together are null and void, i'm afraid, at the base level since the technologies are very different.

Do you have the unlocked model or the one that AT&T sold? It could make a slight difference.
