Can I ask about DS Backup Cartridges here? (legit use not pirating)

I'm not looking to pirate, just make handling the cartridge library easier for mama, kids get one out at a time and have to exchange it for another with her. But what if I used a backup cartridge and put several of them on one? Anyone do it this way, how does it work, what backup cartridges are good.
Again not pirating, I am buying the games.

Given that this is extremely shaky legal ground, I don't think it would be appropriate for any of us to tell you how to do this or recommended any cards. For example, the main brand of these backup cards was actually banned for sale in my country recently, despite having both legal and illegal uses.

So please people, don't post methods or card names.

That said, I have backed up my own games using this method and it's far more convenient to use. The process of backing them up though, especially when you first backup your games, is a pain. It can take over an hour per game, depending on the size of the ROM.

so in other words its the old "do as I say not as I do" saying.

Not at all. I didn't say it shouldn't be done; it's a useful way to organise your games and I would recommend it. So feel free to do what you want, as you put it.

However, the process could so easily be used for piracy (by anyone, not the OP), that I feel uncomfortable with it being discussed on AF. There's no need for android forums to stray into such a legal grey area, when there are countless other websites out there better suited to answering the question.
