Can I change my phone screen?

Hello, I have been customizing my android phone for several years now, but I want to know if it is possible to put a different phone's screen with their modules on a phone. AKA Put a Samsung Note 5 screen on the Samsung S8 (Not to fit into their frames or anything) Thank you!

Depends entirely on whether it's compatible electrically and uses the same drivers. Because if the second isn't true it won't work even if the connector fits.

In the particular example you use I doubt it myself.

I'm with @Hadron on this. it's not like replacing a laptop screen, which I've done with a generic LED screen when the original CFL one failed. The only safe replacement is like for like when replacing a damaged screen (and that's not so easy these days with all glass phone bodies).
