Help Can I change the place where downloaded photos will be saved

If for example e-mail includes some photos as attachment, it could be really sensible if them would be saved to photos instead of somewhere into downloads. Maybe I´m just not yet so familiar with Android but I really don´t like that every time I download photo from mail I need to search it, open and move to another place.
I have Nexus 5 and Lollipop 5.0.
If someone have information how to do that more simple way, feel free to tell me.

Well, not too familiar with the Nexus 5 nor Lollipop, so I thought I'd move your thread into your device forum so others who have your device can help;)
