Can I downgrade my OS version? Samsung Galaxy

Hi,

A friend gave me an old Samsung Galaxy S3 and I'd like to unlock it.
Unfortunetly, the method used to unlock the device via debugging only works on android 4.1.0, but I'm on android 4.2.

Is there a way to temporarily downgrade to 4.1.0 so I can unlock it?

Version is a bit above yours, but it might work anyway. No warranties given.

Hi, thanks for the link!
I managed to downgrade the firmware but as you say, only to 4.1.2, which still won't work for the unlock debugging menu.

I think I need the 4.0.4 version, which I presume is the earliest version you can download.
Unfortunetly I can't find anywhere to download it - any ideas?
