Can I expected the S6 price to drop when the S7 comes out?

I'm due for a new phone and was wondering if I can expect the samsung s6 price to drop when the s7 comes out early march.

and if anyone has pricing information regarding the s6/s7 please share as well. I will be doing the 2 year upgrade plan

The Galaxy S6 price will drop after the S7 is released (older models always price drop), but it's just a matter of when. The price might fall the day of release, or there could be a short delay.

thanks for the reply kate, can i expect the s7 to be priced at what the s6 is priced at now? sorry if this is a basic question, i have no knowledge regarding cell phone provider pricing trends at all

It's hard to say, but it might be reduced to a similar price. Most phones will be discounted several times as they get older.

Usually the full retail price is the last thing to drop... at least with Verizon. You can always try Swappa, where you can buy pristine, gently used phones.
