Help Can I get data off a phone that won't boot up?

I've had my Motorola Droid X2 (Verizon with Google) for a few years now but a couple dies ago it was on low battery suddenly went black, didn't shut off, it was still blinking red it and light was still emitting from the phone but the screen was black. I took the batter out, put it back in, turned it on and it went to the boot screen and stayed there, I took the battery out a couple more times, let it charge overnight and it still won't load I don't care too much about the phone but I had 100+ photos saved on it that I would like back. There's no SD card in it, I've tried hooking it up to the computer which didn't work, and I never used a could service for my photos I just kept them on the phones gallery.

Does it act like it's going to boot and then go back to the black screen? Or does it simply hang on the Motorola logo and stay there?

If you can't get it to boot, then there's not much chance of getting anything off of it. Sorry. :(
