Currently, my Samsung Galaxy J5 runs Android 5.1 & I heard of marshmallow update. Is Galaxy J5 is in the queue to get Marshmallow?

I got the notification to upgrade last week. I tried it and BIG PROBLEMS!
1) I had to remove the sim card to get past the reboot following installation
2) I still can't connect to Google Play from my own router *all works well from public router
