Can I play music through Bluetooth headset?

I'd like to be able to play music through my Bluetooth headset (on my LG Optimus S) but I can' figure out how to do so. I've tried it with Mortplayer and the standard Android Music app. I'm not sure if the issue is app-specific or an Android thing. (I'm running stock Android 2.2, and I have no problem using my Bluetooth headset to make phone calls.)

Is it possible to listen to music through a Bluetooth headset?

Thanks Yeahha. BTMono works perfectly.

That'll let me listen to music or an audio book in the car while my kids are sleeping!

BTMono worked for me too for LG Optimus V, but the quality is horrible. Besides, I have a stereo headset, so why transmit in mono? Isn't here a stereo equivalent of such an app?

Does this work with Droid2 Global? I can't seem to get it to work with mine. Any suggestions?

Original Droid, Droid 2/Global, and Atrix don't seem to work. Send me a device and I'll see what I can do ;)

Android supports streaming to A2DP headsets natively - no need for an app.

Check your Bluetooth Settings, under Bluetooth devices, long press on your device and select "options" make sure "Use for media audio" is selected.

try bluemusic, you can also switch between multiple bluetooth headsets eg. if you also have a carkit and a bluetooth headset you can easily make the switching between the 2.
