Can I port a number after I have already opened a line?

Hi all,

For awhile, I've had two phones, one with AT&T for work and another with Verizon for personal, both under my name.

I will be leaving my job soon but would like to keep AT&T service and eventually get rid of my Verizon service.

Is there a way for me to transfer/port my number from Verizon into my current account with AT&T; thus getting rid of my work/current AT&T number?

I know I can do this with a new line of service but I'd like to keep my current line of service with AT&T since I am grandfathered into my legacy plan.

Thanks!!!

Yes, but at the time you port the Verizon number to your AT&T phone you will automatically be closing out your Verizon account, so if your contract is not up yet, you will incur ETF fees.
