I have a droid 4 currently with Verizon. Is there any other company that will let me bring this phone?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!
Technically most phones are locked to their specific carrier with some exceptions. When I say this I am talking about the big companies, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-mobile. Right off the bat they are separated, AT&T and T-mobile use what they call GSM technology, Verizon and Sprint use CDMA technology. So for sure a Verizon phone cannot get onto AT&T and T-Mobile's networks. Basically Sprint and Verizon use different bands on CDMA and you cannot migrate phones. It is much deeper rooted than this but I wanted to give you an overview.
But there are companies who run off of other carriers network. PagePlus is a good example of a company you could most likely switch to, if you look at their page they say most Verizon phones can be ported to them. (If you dig a little more there probably is a list of allowed phones).

Straight talk is another one but again there are most likely restrictions.
