Can I take the camera of one phone and put it on another?

I have an ASUS ZenFone 5 and it's front camera is really good (compared to the other phones I have). But the problem with that phone is that it has a crack right in front of the camera. I would replace the screen, but I don't want to spend money on that. So I thought if it's possible for me to remove the front camera of that phone and put it on a Crown Blossom B899 tablet? Because I just like that tablet but it has a boring 0.3 MP camera where I can even see my face....

Unlikely. The firmware will include the drivers for the camera the phone was built for. Even if it is physically and electrically compatible I wouldn't bet on it working.
