Can I turn oof the independent browser brighness?

I really hate that "feature", I wish they would make a toggle to use the independent brightness feature.

I use the notification bar for brightness control, so I don't use any automatic brightness.

Has anyone figured out a way to remove the stock browsers independent brightness?

I kinda love this phone though
