Help Can I update to Nougat myself?

My phone hasn't had the OTA update yet.
I have seen the file online ~1.9GB.
I am with Vodafone UK, but purchased this handset separately.
It has Android 6.0, Sense 7.0 and Software 3.35.401.32.

If I do it will it be ok, or will I brick it?

I need the latest Nougat firmware for my HTC M9 Vodafone UK. Can you please tell me the latest version of firmware or it would be great if you can share too.

Sorry, I have now moved on to an S8, but mine did eventually auto update to latest Nougat.
You can check in settings,device,about yourself.
