Root Can I use a Titanium Backup from a Droid 2 on a Droid 2 Global?

So... the wife just got a Droid 2 2 weeks ago. It has been missing and ignoring calls and has very poor reception. I just got off the phone with Verizon and they are out of the Droid 2, so they are sending us a Droid 2 Global instead. My big question is.... will I be able to use her Titanium Backup from the regular Droid 2 to put everything back on the new phone?

Only thing she's really concerned with is saving her place in "Angry Birds" anyways. LOL. If she couldn't transfer that, it would have been a deal breaker. :D

I just came from a D1 to a R2D2D2. I had made a full titanium back up before getting the new one. I did make sure not to restore any system apps, but the first time a did a restore I got stuck in a force close loop. Make sure you make a nandroid backup before restoring any apps. I eventually went through and restored app AND data on only a few of my apps (like angry birds, lol) and the rest i did not restore data on. Everything has worked fine after that.

I use Titanium with no problems on my Global. Both my local Verizon stores were also out of the Droid 2. Wonder if they have discontinued it. I think it poor of them to sell me a Global when I never would use the features it has over the Droid 2.

To be safe, do not restore system files, only apps and data from the apps. (The lower number in batch mode)
