Is it possible, on a Galaxy S3, to use one of those MHL cables that plugs into the S3 and has two ports on the other end, one for HDMI, and one for a USB charger, and then to plug into said USB charger slot one of those split USB-OTG cables that has two wires, one for the USB-OTG device, and another for a charger?
The setup would look like this:
So that I could use my phone as a portable gamestation. I already know the USB OTG gamepad works great alongside a charger, using the split USB OTG cable. I don't know if it would work through the split MHL cable though.
Why, you ask? Because I discovered that SG: Deadzone for PC can play against someone on SG: Deadzone on Android. So I could effectively play a LAN game against my nephew without having to buy a second PC.
