Can I watch video on my vizio tv using my evo?

Probably a stupid question but I'm technically challenged, my cable is out and my neck hurts from looking at this little screen! Can I plug my Evo into a monitor? I have a blue ray player if that helps.

No, having a blu ray player has nothing to do with connecting your phone to your tv.

And BTW, what are you trying to watch? Only certain things can be outputted through hdmi.

I'm trying to watch tv through my Sprint tv ap, but basically trying to figure out if there's a way to use my phone to stream anything to my tv. I thought maybe i could use it with my blue ray player because of the usb cord. Thanks for the help!

No, you cannot output video from the usb. Some phones support this, but the evo only does by hdmi. And Sprint TV app wont output over hdmi. The only things I know that do, are the stock video app, and youtube. I'm sure there are a few more apps, but I havent tried any.
