I have an HTC eris on rooted 2.1 and now found the KaosFroyo V24 android 2.2 and i was wondering is it possible to update from rooted to rooted and if so how can i go about doing so ? Thanks for all the help

Just download the KaosFroyo zip to your computer and copy it to your sd card root directory and flash it via the recovery menu (phone shut down, then hold volume up key and press the power button).
Navigate the recovery area menu with your track ball and use the down volume key to return to a previous menu page.
