Apps Can not look into the emulators data folder while debugging

i am listing the set of directories,while debugging....that is the root,etc,system,data....The emulator showing only 3 directories..such as data,sdcard and system.i can push files only to the 'data' directory.But i cant look into its sub directories while debugging...is there any permission problems?????
