Can only be heard during call on speakerphone!

yet another glitch on my Maxx...not sure if this one is a result of the new update but now when I place a call, I can hear them but the person on the other line can only hear me if i put it to speaker phone...anyone know a solution??? I tried the factory reset already.

This is pretty similar to the problem I had with my Galaxy Nexus and the reason i now have the Razr Maxx. It this is a consistent problem then you need to call Verizon tech support and discuss it with them.

My Razr Maxx had the clearest call quality of any phone I have ever used.

Had a similar problem with Samsung Droid Charge. Verizon's first response was something got inside the mic hole. They cleared the obstruction and it was okay for a couple days. Second time simply pulling the SIM card while powered off and then back in after five seconds solved the problem. Was what led me to getting Maxx.

I would say first make sure the mic hole is clear, reboot (can't hurt to pull SIM card if you want), and lastly try battery pull simulation. If none of those work definitely get ahold of Verizon and see what they say.
