i tried that-but it does not work.
crashes my phone.kept boot looping.
pulled battery to fix.

My phone initially crashed too. The whole process just froze on the computer and on the phone. I unplugged the phone then pulled the battery. I turned the phone back on and it said something like, "error, update did not finish" or something along those lines. The computer said there was an error and if I wanted to recover. I pushed yes and started the process all over. It worked. I am now unrooted. All the bloatware is back. I just stuck them in a folder. No problems with battery or lag.

Just try it again, it took me a couple tries on different computers. Kies on Mac said there weren't any updates. Window 7 64 bit wouldn't even install Kies, it just completely froze all 3 times that I tried. It ended up working my old Windows 7 32 bit computer. The whole process took about an hour once it started to work.
