Help "Can using an Infrared Towel Warmer provide any health benefits?

What benefit would heating a towel through radiation rather than conduction (putting it on a heated towel rail) bring?
I'd have thought that a hot bath would be more effective, because the heat capacity of a towel is very small compared to that of a bath of water and so the warming effect of the towel will be smaller and much shorter.
