What makes you think there might be malware("virus") in the Galaxy J5? Also if you get an iPad, are you going to be signing into a Google account, and not an AppleID account?

No, malware can't be spread through your Google account.
Just make sure your password is secure. The main vulnerability to hacking is a weak password.

I still have to ask, what makes you think your mobile is infected? Is it rooted? Has anyone else had unrestricted access to it, out of your sight? Are there any unexpected things going on with it? Any true Android malware is not going to effect and attack an Apple iOS device at all AFAIK.

Be aware that some so-called "antiviruses" and little more than scareware snake oil, giving false positives, lying, etc, especially things from Cheetah Mobile and Qihoo 360.

No, not unexpected things. Just when i get this phone i'm installed much cracked apps. You know like subway surfers-unlimited money, hungry shark evolution-unlimited resources......... etc.

Are you saying that you installed cracked apps on your phone?

OK, best thing to do is make sure it hasn't been rooted, and re-flash the factory firmware if it has. Reset your Google password, and other account passwords, I'm thinking in-case the cracked apps phoned home your private date.

Of course there are no cracked apps and games on iOS, not unless you jailbreak it. Best advice for Android is to stay away from warez, and only install from trusted sources, like Google Play.

How to make sure that hasn't been rooted ? Im in the google play store installed root checker. And that says it is not rooted

As others have said, your Gmail account can't download malware to an iPad (I won't use the word "virus" as that is technically incorrect). But if the account itself is compromised, i.e. someone else has got the username and password, it could be used to do nasty things to your android.

This is why the most important question is the one you have not answered: why do you think it is infected? Many people blame anything they don't understand on malware, even when in most cases it is not, which is why we have to ask this question. But if there is an infection then clearing that is important, and if the account is compromised it's important that you regain control of it (i.e. clean the phone, then change password and apply 2-factor authentication if you haven't already - and check for any unrecognised devices that have been used to access your account and deauthorise them if you find any).

Edit: ah, I see that the thread has moved on while I was typing this.

Because that's probably the most dangerous thing you could possibly do to your phone. You have no idea if these cracked apps contain malware, harvest your data etc. You have absolutely no protection whatsoever from these problems if you choose to install apps from outside the Google Play Store.
Okay, than what should i do ? I'm checked my phone with lots of antiviruses. Im alredy checked it with root checker.

I downloaded lots of cracked apps you know like subway surfers-unlimited money, etc... And i'm checked it with most antiviruses and every antivirus say "no malware found" im also have pre-installed smart manager into my samsung. And that also "no malware found". And im now buying a new ipad. And i download only a gmail on it. And login. And why i need to change password ? Thay can upload files or what ? I alredy have a 2 factor authentificator.

Malware could upload your private data to a hacker's server, e.g. if it was running a keylogger on your device recording account logins and passwords. The fact you got two factor, does make things better, but I would still change passwords anyway, just to be extra sure.

Some of these nefarious things have been known to be running cryptocurrency mining in the background, using up your battery and data of course, i.e. mining Bitcoin, etc. for the hackers at your expense.

Okay. Can i ask a one question ? Is eset mobile security good ? Becouse it have one option to detect keyloggers. Is it good ?

And how to get rid of the keyloggers ?

If it's possible that you have had a malware infection then someone else could know your password. Would you feel secure relying on two factor by itself if someone did know this?

But in that case there would also be no point in changing password until you are sure that the phone is clean.

As for "antivirus" (sic) apps, by definition they only detect stuff the authors know about. Not taking risks like installing cracked apps (a major source of infection) is a better protection than any malware checking app.
