can we use our phone like an xbox kinect?

wife decided she wanted to dust off our xbox 360 kinect and use the games to get in shape. Being an MS product is wouldn't power up. Just wondering if there are any android apps that would replace the kinect instead of trying to get the xbox fixed. we'd ideally cast the phone to a tv while playing.

Try you local Game store, I've seen the kinect for sale in there or those trade-in shops. In fact a quick search on eBay revealed many units for sale.
