Can you download .exe files to your android phone, then transfer to PC?

I'm wondering if you are able to download .exe files like a PC game or something FROM the internet on your android phone TO your android phone, such as the Evo, to the SD card. Then, could you transfer that file from the SD card to your computer and install the file?

I'm asking because I want to use the 4g speeds of my phone to download a file, so that all I would have to do is transfer and install the file to my computer.

Thanks for answers!

It should be no problem to download a .exe installer or standalone app to your phone and then transfer it. Where you would have an issue is copying an installed program where you might miss config files, dll files and registry entries.
The SD card on your Evo will allow you to store files in a similar fashion to a "memory stick." Anything that would work by copying to a USB thumb drive should work just as easily with using your phone as the storage medium.
