Can you put a normal phone sim in the Nexus 7?

I'm interested in buying my first tablet. I've been looking at the Nexus 7. I was just wondering if that tablet, or any tablet comes with a slot for a sim card, the same one a phone holds.
I'd want to put my current t-mobile sim in to the tablet, as I have unlimited internet usage on it.

If you have a non wifi-only 7, a regular phone SIM will work just fine. However, if it is carrier locked to someone other than T-Mobile, it won't work. Another option would be wifi tethering from your phone… then you don't need a SIM in the tablet.
